Chief Minister of Sarawak Tan Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud announced on Saturday evening (19th March 2011) that the Sarawak state's assembly to be dissolved on Monday (21st March 2011) , paving the way for state 10th Sarawak state election's polls.

Sarawak Chief Minister said he would taking part in the upcoming state elections but will resigned as mid-term of Chief Minister .
