Dubbed Wow Book, it is a compilation of gift and discount vouchers with savings up to 50% from 108 restaurants, hotels and entertainment and retail outlets.
Borneo Wow Networking Sdn Bhd managing director Addy Kho said the book would be sold at RM25 each, and RM5 from each purchase would be donated to charity.
“Wow Book is the first charity discount book in Kuching and donations from every book sale will be made to charitable organisations all year round,” he said at a press conference recently.
He added that the proceeds raised during the book’s recent launch at Boulevard Shopping Mall would be donated to Kuching Autistic Association and Meeting Needs.
The first 1,000 purchasers received gifts from L’Oreal, one of the book’s main sponsors, and cash vouchers from participating merchants.
