Malaysia won Suzuki Cup, PM declares 31 December 2010 as public holiday!!!

Malaysia has won the AFF-Suzuki Cup on a 4-2 aggregate. It was a significant success for Malaysia as the last time the senior national team became champions in a regional competition was at the 1989 SEA Games in Kuala Lumpur. Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak declared Friday, 31 December 2010 as a public holiday in recognition of our team's AFF-Suzuki Cup triumph.

Organizers:

The festive's event was organised by Xpax Malaysia and cooperated together with Sara Urus Harta Sdn Bhd, Eastern Alliance and Kuching City South Council, the lighting ceremony will take place on Dec 21. Meanwhile, the official media is the Borneo Post.

Event 1,

Xpax 60-foot Christmas tree was located at Taman Kereta, Jalan Mata Kuching to spread the season’s cheer this year. Carolers will perform the season’s favourites accompanied by a one-of-a-kind Xpax Santa Claus who will distribute candies around the twinkling tree.

Event 2,

Carolers will move on scheduled which is start from Taman Kereta (Dec 20, 7pm), Riverside Shopping Complex (Dec 21, 7.30pm), Tun Jugah Shopping Complex (Dec 22, 8pm) and Sarawak Plaza (Dec 23, 8.30pm) will be the last destination of this event with the theme of ‘Be Home For Xmas – Xmas Attack’.

Event 3,

Xpax will have a Christmas road show themed ‘Got X, Got Xmas, Got Life’ at four shopping malls throughout Sarawak. The road show will be between Dec 18 and 27 at Sarawak Plaza Shopping Complex, Kuching; Wisma Sanyan, Sibu; Boulevard Shopping Complex, Miri and Park City Mall, Bintulu.

Price Rise for RON95, Diesel, LPG and sugar!!!

Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri Idris Jala Idris announced that the second wave of price rise for the subsidy rationalisation programme.

Goods of Subsidy adjustment price will enforced start on 4 December 2010, 12.01 midnight!!!

i, RON95 petrol from RM1.85 increase 5 cents to RM1.90 (per liter),

ii, Diesel from RM1.75 rise up its price to RM1.80 (per liter),

iii, Liquefied Petroleum Gas also hiked 5 cents from RM1.85 to RM1.90 (per liter) &

iv, Sugar rise up 20 cents from RM1.90 to RM2.10 (per kg).

Petrol's RON 97 Price Up 15 Cents Again!!!

The price of RON 97 is up 15 sen to RM2.30 per liter start on 1st December 2010 caused by the the floating price of petrol reflection in the global market, said Deputy Domestic Trade, Co-operative and Consumerim Minister Datuk Rohani Abdul Karim.
